She will lead choirs from across the U.S. in Thompson's famous Testament of Freedom for SATB choir and orchestra.
Her new work for SATB choir and piano, with original poetry by Bobbi J. Nicotera, will receive its East Coast Premiere in Carnegie Hall on this same concert!

Jenni was commissioned by the Sister Singers Network, to compose and conduct her new choral work A Universal Dream to be premiered during the 10th Sister Singers Network Choral Festival over the Fourth of July weekend 2010 in Chicago, Illinois.

Dancing Naked at the Edge of Dawn for SSAA choir, percussion, and piano. This piece, commissioned by Sistrum in 2009, was just performed at the Sister Singers Network Festival "Our Kind of Sound" in Chicago in July 2010!
The Giver of Stars for SATB choir a cappella. Commissioned by the Young New Yorkers' Chorus, this work explores beauty and joy in love and ecstasy.

Two works to be published by Graphite Publishing Summer 2010 |
Jenni is very excited to announce that two of her works will now be published by Graphite  Publishing.:
Dog Tales for soprano, flute, clarinet, and piano was commissioned by Conundrum, a Cincinnati new music ensemble, in 2009. It tells the stories of the ensemble's various dogs, with original poetry by Bobbi J. Nicotera.
Imperceptible for soprano and piano takes ten Japanese poems as translated by Kenneth Rexroth and weaves them together to tell the story of a woman's wait for her lover and the delicate human heart.

The Giver of Stars for SATB choir a cappella was commissioned in 2010 by the Young New Yorkers's Chorus under the direction of Michael Kerschner. This piece was part of their 6th Annual Young Composers Composition Competition. It was premiered by the YNYC at St. Peter's Church in New York City on June 5, 2010.
