As a conductor, Jenni has studied conducting at West Chester University, the University of Texas at Austin and the University of Southern California. She has been a guest conductor on both instrumental and choral concerts at these schools, conducting both standard repertoire as well as premieres of new works. For the past 9 years she has lead both church and community choirs, and for the past six years she has lead The Concert Singers, the oldest independent choir in Los Angeles. Besides leading this ensembles’ regular season, she appears as a guest conductor in a variety of venues across Southern California, including the Nokia Plaza in downtown Los Angeles during the 99th Rotary International Conference.
Recent engagements included guest conducting her new work A Universal Dream during the Sister Singers Network Conference in Chicago in July 2010. Jenni conducted the Southern California premiere of her new work The Woman with the Unfathomable Eyes at Biola University in November 2010.
Jenni is available as a guest conductor and residencies can include rehearsing and conducting her own works along with other composers' works as well as workshops on her works, pre-concert talks and special appearances.
